Imperia Ceylon is dedicated to sharing the genuine essence and excellence of Sri Lankan spices, cultivated by local farmers, with the Australian market. Ash, our founder, hails from Kandy, Sri Lanka, where he was immersed in the lush surroundings of the country’s rainforests and tea estates. This environment provided him with access to premium, handpicked spices unaffected by industrial processing techniques, ideal for culinary use.

With over two decades spent abroad, Ash pursued a career as a professional chef in New Zealand and Australia, earning numerous accolades in the culinary realm. Nevertheless, his profound fondness for the authentic flavours of Ceylon Cinnamon and other traditional Sri Lankan spices remains unwavering.

At Imperia Ceylon, we offer pure, organic spices meticulously handpicked by local farmers and subjected to minimal processing, resulting in some of the most aromatic and flavourful spices from Sri Lanka. Our products are not only perfect for enhancing culinary creations but also for promoting overall well-being.

CEYLON CINNAMON

Ceylon Cinnamon is one of the beloved spices globally, which provides its characteristic spicy-sweet kick to all manner of sweet and savoury dishes.

CEYLON PEPPER

Time after time, Black Pepper is  described as the “King of spice” and it shares a place on most dinner tables with salt as the most consumed spice in the world.

CEYLON NUTMEG

Nutmeg is a popular spice made from the seeds of Myristica fragrans, a tropical evergreen tree. It has a warm, slightly nutty flavour .

CEYLON CURRY POWDER

Imperia Ceylon Curry powders are a blend of ground, and dried spices, adds flavor to a variety of dishes, including vegetarian, meat, and seafood preparations.

Sri Lanka is renowned for its high-quality spices, and its chili is no exception. Grown in diverse agro-climatic regions and handpicked by local farmers, chili maintains its quality and freshness.
